[Autom. eng. transl.] What job does the economic Muse do, that is, what is his "unthrifty trade" (assuming that it is wasteful, which generates waste "), provided that this expression that the Scottish philosopher and poet James Beattie (1735 -1803) applied to the entire group of Muses in 1768? Before answering this question pragmatically with a couple of examples, we cannot fail to recommend never forgetting that, although a "minor divinity" like the sisters, the Economic Muse is by its nature interdisciplinary, as well as nourished and animated by the complementarity between literary experience and economic experience, both understood sensu side.
