Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The short essay presents a linguistic and stylistic analysis of some letters from the Plinian epistolary through which, dealing with the theme of mourning and reaction to it, an important aspect of the perfect citizen ethic is outlined that Pliny aims to outline by proposing himself as measurement and balance model.
