Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] A strong utopian tension gives impetus to the literary activity and the civil commitment of the protagonists of this book: Giovanni Papini and Giuseppe Antonio Borgese, Girolamo Comi and Carlo Betocchi, Carlo Bo and Mario Apollonio, Giuseppe Dossetti and Primo Mazzolari; men in many different aspects, but unanimous in conceiving their intellectual vocation as a testimony that is embodied in time to throw seeds of prophecy into it.
