Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The verbal aspect is one of the most difficult categories to acquire by Russian-speaking learners, and this difficulty is registered both in secondary school and in universities, from levels A1-A2 to the most advanced. The acquisition of expected uses is also complicated by a phenomenon, very frequent in the Russian language, and to which this article is dedicated, namely the "competition of aspects", concerning the use of the aspect in the past. The article shows how corpora, and in particular the National Corpus of the Russian Language, are a valid tool for teaching the appearance and the so-called "competition of aspects" in the classes of Italian-speaking learners.
