On the one hand, existential experiences in the strict sense (life, death, etc.) become real social problems. On the other hand, some social problems (sustainable development, welfare state, etc.) open up to existential considerations ”. Existential tourism puts this existential research at the center of its discourse and it does so above all by asking / offering spaces and oases that mark a strong discontinuity with the rhythms and lifestyles of modern day-to-day life. The contribution illustrates some manifestations of this tourist form.
