[Autom. eng. transl.] The economy sector is among those in which the contradictions and limits of the evaluation systems of academic research in Italy are most clearly perceived. A still fragile economic science, which in order to evolve would require openness, pluralism and comparison between the different approaches, is today conditioned in its development by criteria of evaluation and selection of academic levers to a large extent arbitrary and crushed on a single paradigm, although this is subjected to increasing epistemological, theoretical and empirical objections.
