Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The paper analyzes the architectural decoration elements found in the sanctuary of Apollo in Hierapolis of Phrygia and referable to the elevation of the main temple. Furthermore, Ionic columns and capitals re-used in the nearby Great Baths in the Byzantine age can be traced back to the sacred building. The stylistic analysis of the architectural elements made it possible to circumscribe the construction of the temple of Apollo in the Augustan-Tiberian age
