Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The volume reconstructs the history of the oratory of Santa Croce di Scarlino, in the Grosseto Maremma, lowering the fresco of 1436 re-emerged in 2018 within the context of Sienese painting of the early fifteenth century and, specifically, within the artistic context of the State of Piombino and of the important Maremma village, second in importance only to Piombino.
