[Autom. eng. transl.] The contribution represents a substantial appendix to a volume that addresses the social history of the Italian cultural industry from its origins (1881) until the early nineties. The appendix, divided into 5 tabs, corresponding to the different historical periods addressed by the author of the volume (1881-1900; 1901-1918; 1918-1945; 1945-1960; 1961-1990) aims to provide a synthetic look, of an exclusively statistical-descriptive nature, on some changes occurred in the considered periods. In particular the proposed scenarios outline some dimensions - the population, the communication infrastructures and the market of the cultural industry - considered useful as a background for understanding the phenomena examined in the volume.
