Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The essay moves from the consideration of a new frontier of civil law in the area of biodiversity in which the tension between the first and second categories is somehow encountered, as well as a more general bio-anthropological question. In particular, the essay examines the turning of private autonomy in the field of biotechnological choices and in the context of decisions concerning parental authority. The last part deals in particular with the question of pre-implantation diagnosis and the controversial prohibition of it in jurisprudence.
