[Autom. eng. transl.] The social work internship is a field training experience in which the student works in a network with a group of people who know the community starting from their professional commitment or their direct experience as members of the community. Methodologically, students are called to define, with the help of the community, a general purpose which consists in improving a certain life condition concerning a single person / family or more easily a community, and to accompany the process of open planning for the definition and implementation of shared initiatives. With the start of the emergency from Covid 19, after a first moment of suspension of the training activities in the field, it was necessary to rethink the methods for the realization of the Social Service Internships. To this end, guidelines have been defined for carrying out the internship activity during the emergency. The contribution lays the foundations for reading the internship experiences carried out during the Covid-19 pandemic and presented in the text.
