Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The structure, the language, the rhythm, the arguments, the interactions, the role of the hosts and the politicians interviewed, in three in-depth journalistic programs produced by RAI during the 1996 political election campaign: Porta a porta, Mixer, Linea 3. Under the microscope of applied linguistics and semiological research, three modes of television representation of politics are revealed - which are also three ideas of politics tout court - in this study carried out by the Pavia-Cares Observatory and the Communication Observatory of the Catholic University of Milan.
