[Autom. eng. transl.] The evolution of organizational models and of human capital management logics represent strategic levers on which to aim to improve performance and increase the competitiveness of companies, an element undoubtedly decisive in facing the current economic situation. In this context, there is the growing attention to Smart Working: an innovative approach to the organization of work that integrates and goes beyond the concepts of teleworking and mobility while questioning the traditional constraints (physical space, working hours and tools) to the search for new balances based on greater freedom and empowerment of workers. In this framework, making use of recent empirical investigations, the author has proposed a double intention: to highlight the effectiveness of Smart working in the daily challenge of reconciling family work; analyze if, and under what conditions, the introduction of flexibility measures can represent a win win solution in a business environment.
