Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Classic cinema highlights a testimonial idea of the media linked to the photographic origin of the cinematographic image. The contemporary media, on the contrary, cannot rely on a consolidated social knowledge about the photographic and image nature and the consequent trust, and shift the testimonial role to the viewer. The argument is conducted through a cross-analysis of Fury (F. Lang, 1936) and Redacted (B. de Palma, 2007)
