Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Giovanni Testori is an author in whose work the visual element is dominant, and not only because of his critical vocation and passion for painting. Art history and art criticism have represented an important part of his theatrical and literary journey and his passion for figurative art is well known. In this essay, in addition to highlighting Testori's particular multi-faceted approach to literature and the world of art, the importance of the gaze in the construction of his poetics is particularly underlined.
