Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Millions of people are forced to flee their homes every year following violations of their rights, abuses, violence and armed conflict. A part of them, the so-called internally displaced persons, do not go beyond the borders of their own state. This contribution addresses the issue of international protection and assistance addressed to this specific group of people, with a specific focus on Colombia.
