Abstract
This essay describes the propaganda and promotional activities carried out by the Istituto "Giuseppe Toniolo" di studi superiori regarding the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, from its founding to the nineteen-seventies. In particular, considers the action deployed by the Friends of the University and the initiatives connected to the University Day, the center of the mobilization of the various branches of Catholic Action and clergy in parishes. And 'then reconstructed the function of the Committee propaganda established at the university under the guidance of Armida Barelli. The essay concludes by examining the evolution of the latest support of Italian Catholic to the University of the Sacred Heart, marked by the crisis provoked by the youth protest and cultural changes of the seventies.
