Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The contribution discusses Popper's hypothesis that the mind emerges from matter following the well-known lines of evolution. In this context, Popper addresses the problem of the relationship between the ego and the brain, whose interaction would take place in the center of the language. The essay shows how difficult it is for Popper to reconcile epistemological evolutionism with the ontological doctrine he advocated concerning the existence of three interacting worlds.
