Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The contribution originates from the speech held on the occasion of the seminar entitled "The" impenetrable aegis ": mafia and power in the work of Leonardo Sciascia, twenty years after the massacres of Capaci and via D'Amelio", in the context of the Justice and Literature Seminar Cycle (Law and Literature) of the "Federico Stella" Study Center on Criminal Justice and Criminal Policy. The terms law, law, truth and justice are recurrent in the work of Leonardo Sciascia. The reading of his writings offers an important opportunity for reflection on the links that 'connect' the two elements to which the Justice and Literature Seminar Cycle is entitled (Law and Literature). Leonardo Sciascia was a careful and sensitive interpreter of the problems of justice. The intertwining of Justice and Truth links the events of Sciascia's works and entirely characterizes his life, pushing him to fight, as a writer, intellectual and political, against any form of falsification of history or concealment of the truth.
