[Autom. eng. transl.] The effectiveness of communication lies, according to these more recent approaches, not only in the decoding capacity of R, but in the game of mutual interpretation at an intentional level. The meaning of communication is no longer considered a stable and univocal entity, but the result, always only partially achievable, of attempts to share the intention, in which the context, the function and the interactive dimension assume importance. In the following pages we look at different aspects of the definition of communicative intention starting from the categorical approach, proposed by pragmatics, up to the most recent models of strategies and intentional hierarchies elaborated in the theories of the psychology of action.
