Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The development of secondary education profoundly transformed the knowledge and requirements of the technical professions. After recalling the introduction in the Kingdom of Italy of a common system of technical institutes, the essay focuses on the guidelines and lessons related to the administrative-accounting and commercial professions. Following the long debate that crossed the world of accountants, the profession of accountant approached full legal recognition, obtained in 1906. Among the innovations of the first unitary decades, the consolidation of a system of public examinations, also of professional qualification, is considered. , and the development of manuals for technical institutes, specifically in the economic-commercial disciplines.
