Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] He mainly refers to the case of Nicolò Pierotti da Vallico, a Dominican prior imprisoned and tried in Piacenza in the mid-seventeenth century to answer for well-founded accusations of embezzlement and other serious infractions committed against some members of the Modena Jewish community when he was vicar of the inquisitor in that city.
