Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The centrality of the theme of mother tongues in the current Italian social reality which has seen a strong increase in multilingualism in a few years (there are more than 150 immigrant languages), with the highest number in Europe of different origins of immigrant communities, places the question of the relationship of the younger generations with the language and culture of origin.
