Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The research observes whether there is a correlation between the emotion felt by the players and the result of the sports competition. The Igor Volley Novara was examined, analyzing two emblematic matches, through observation, analysis and coding of each facial expression. It turns out that facial expressions related to joy and surprise encourage a lowering of tension and stress management; without these the team does not maintain an emotional balance on the pitch
