[Autom. eng. transl.] In this chapter, we examine the strategies of companies operating in the dairy industry, trying to analyze the causes and understand what their future developments may be. In a first paragraph we outline those that, at the macro-environment level, are the subjects that influence the strategic choices of the dairy food industry actors. A second paragraph is dedicated to the developments that have occurred over the last few years in terms of business combinations and mergers, and then to analyze, in the following paragraphs, specifically for some merchandise the lines and orientations of the companies that operate there.
