L'inclusività delle smart city lombarde: città a confronto

[Autom. eng. transl.] The present contribution illustrates the main results of a research carried out on Lombard smart cities in order to assess their 'inclusiveness', ie the ability to include in the implemented projects even the weakest sections of the population, from the poor and needy, to the sick, the children, the elderly, immigrants. Those who in fact follow the current debate on smart cities are aware of the fact that attention has increasingly shifted from technological aspects, which in any case remain intrinsic features of smart cities, to aspects of social inclusion (I. Beretta, 2015a). With the investigation carried out, therefore, an attempt was made to understand whether the Lombard smart cities really are 'inclusive' and, possibly, what this inclusiveness consists of. The work consists of 4 paragraphs. In the first, the theme of smart cities is introduced, hinting at the risk of technological domination inherent in them and at the lack of a real inclusive capacity. The second paragraph presents the investigative work carried out; the third shows the main results; in the fourth and last paragraph some concluding remarks are made.
