Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The text presents the activity of the "Pio Istituto Pavoni" Foundation, which has been operating in the Brescia area for many years, planning and implementing interventions in favor of the school inclusion of the deaf and supporting their families. Through a prolonged collaboration with the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, the Foundation has developed and tested an innovative approach to school inclusion which, in a multidisciplinary perspective and based on a social and relational reading of the condition of disability, goes beyond the old deficit-oriented paradigm, instead adopting a logic of empowerment and integration of resources in the field
