Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The process of change that engages the insertion of school-work alternation pathways has introduced significant changes in educational institutions. Certainly, the problems, the gaps, the difficulties that are marking this turning point cannot be silenced. From a pedagogical perspective, it is also important to recognize the potential of this device, which aims to alternate meaningful contexts of life for each person: school and work, passing through communities and territories. This effort to meet and recognize universes that are so different and often distant can be all the more effective the more a systemic approach is adopted in a coherent way, capable of keeping the children and their families in the process. In this perspective, it may be strategic to focus attention on the specific role that families can play, in the accompaniment of the processes that mark the paths of alternation and in the elaboration of the meanings of these formation stories.
