[Autom. eng. transl.] The assessment of the impact of banking crises in customer relations highlights a changed regulatory scenario which, although mainly affecting the banking company, is however able to have a very direct impact and with significant consequences on individuals and banks they establish contractual relationships, concerning banking activities or the provision of investment services. The chapter addresses issues related to the distribution of bank bonds. First the problems related to mis-selling practices are presented; subsequently, the impact of the BBRD regulation on the distribution of securities connected to a change in customer risks and the presence of weak remedies is assessed. Finally, some potential corrective measures provided for by MiFID II are presented, with particular reference to product governance.
