Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Starting in the 1980s, a debate developed that focused on the television image and the peculiarities of the medium. At the same time, a new sensitivity has been spreading towards the preservation and archiving of the television image. What do the images that run on television screens tell us about our past history? What is it worth keeping? According to what criteria? The essay proposes analyzes and reflections to find answers to these and other questions.
