Abstract
In this paper we determine low and upper bounds for the eigenvalues of a complex matrix A, through easy computations over the matrix elements, in particular traces of A and of its second and third power. mean, standard deviation and third centered moments of the real and imaginary parts of the spectrum distribution are introduced. particularly interesting results are obtained for matrices with real spectrum and normal matrices.
