Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The intervention describes the collaboration that has existed for a decade between the Custody of the Holy Land and the CRELEB of the Catholic University (supported among others by the ATS pro Terra Sancta association), aimed at promoting and conserving, but also at developing and the enhancement of the book material kept in the Franciscan libraries of Jerusalem. More than 40 university students and recent graduates from the Catholic University of Milan and Brescia have now been involved in the project, who have contributed to the recovery of a large part of the ancient Gerosolimitano fund, meticulously cataloged and made available to the public through OPAC. Bibliographic exhibitions in situ and digital exhibitions are also set up every year. The most important recent news is the development of a digital bibliography / library entitled Ancient Pilgrimage in Holy Land Digital Library which aims to record all the printed editions (XV-XVIII centuries) of itineraries and travel reports in the Holy Land, providing accurate bibliographic descriptions, accompanied, where possible, by digital reproductions of specimens kept in important European libraries.
