Libri del Seicento in Università Cattolica. Atti dell’incontro di studi in occasione della II “Giornata Eraldo Bellini”, Milano, Università Cattolica (20 febbraio 2020)

[Autom. eng. transl.] The Library of the Milan branch of the Catholic University preserves a substantial patrimony of ancient volumes, including about three thousand published in the seventeenth century, the subject of an extensive process of rescheduling in itinere which provides, alongside a complete bibliographic description, also precise indications on the specificities of the exemplary. To these collections is added the “Carlo Viganò” Library of the History of Sciences of the Brescia branch, with over ten thousand works between ancient and modern. This vast "data base" constituted the field of exercise that led some university scholars to propose specific reflections on publishing and seventeenth-century cultural history. The meeting took place in the context of the Study Day dedicated to Eraldo Bellini, to whose name and work on seventeenth-century literature this volume - the first of a series dedicated to the special collections of the Catholic University Library - is ideally dedicated .
