Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Bartolmeo Fontana was an editor in Brescia and Venice in the first half of the seventeenth century. In 1622 he bought the stock fund of the historic Scotto bookshop in Venice. The activity of the Fontana is analyzed both from an editorial and a commercial point of view
