Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The text proposes itself as a tool - agile in exposition as well as in the methodological framework - aimed at introducing studies and researchers to the quantitative analysis of economic problems and decisions. Conceived as a didactic support to the course "Quantitative methods for economic decisions", the volume also offers ideas for in-depth analysis and innovative analysis. The first chapter, after having introduced the basic notions of the linear programming problem, develops in an organic way the parametric programming that plays a key role in the formulation and solution of business decision problems. The second chapter analyzes the life curve of a product from the viewpoint of sigmoid curves and examines the relationship between communicational expenditure and induced turnover with an economic reinterpretation of the hysteresis cycle model. Complete the text a targeted mathematical appedice.
