Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] This book inaugurates a new series of the Books of Moltefedi. The series is called For a grammar of faiths. The word grammar immediately refers to the foundations and with these texts we aim to make known, in a simple but not superficial way, what lies at the basis of the various faiths, their beliefs, their thoughts, the holidays, the traditions and the stories. The series is inaugurated by a first volume on Judaism. The volume takes up the contents of the first year of the "Judaism" course held online as part of Molte Fedi 2021, edited by Claudia Milani, and aims to make this world better known, but above all to show how rich its world still is today culture, its music, literature, history, the way of praying, the way of celebrating and its stories. A world animated by discussions, problems, different currents of thought, but a world that is alive and not at all fossilized and monolithic as perhaps we are led to think. With the hope that, as Cardinal Martini underlined, this knowledge allows us to overcome fears and difficulties and gives dialogue that joy and humanity that befits a meeting between friends.
