Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The present work starts from the importance of dealing with topics concerning nutrition in educational contexts. In particular, the study is based on the analysis of discourse in the transcriptions of three lessons in contexts similar to those of English as a vehicular language where food and nutrition represent the content of the lesson. Three lessons were recorded in three different orders of education: primary, secondary and tertiary. Some lexicon presentation strategies in the literature were then analyzed: repetitions and definitions. It was then investigated whether the use of humor could also be considered a strategy for presenting vocabulary. The data show that in the three education orders there are similarities and differences in the use of the aforementioned strategies and the results are only partially aligned with the existing literature in this regard.
