The publication in the first months of 2023 of the results of the research conducted in the eight years of life of the Observatory appears fundamental not so much, or in any case not only, to attest to the growth path that the conference and events market has experienced in Italy since 2014 to 2019 - with an average annual growth rate composed of the number of meetings equal to +4.1% and the number of participants equal to +3.7% - as well as to document the effects of the unprecedented crisis that the venues for conferences and events they found themselves having to face with the explosion of the Covid-19 pandemic from March 2020 until at least mid-2021, as well as to testify to the timely reaction capacity of the sector in undertaking a progressive path to relaunching activities after the changes imposed by the crisis.
