Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The sources of ecclesiastical law have had, since the 1970s, a particular area of development linked to the affirmation in an ever more intense manner of the regional legislative power in the matter of the protection of religious freedom. The paper reconstructs the historical evolution of this sector, describes the dynamics between the civil and confessional institutions involved and analyzes the main intervention sectors. Among these we must remember: the building of worship, the enhancement of cultural assets of religious interest, religious tourism, spiritual assistance in hospitals and health resorts. The essay is completed by an extensive note and a complete list of the agreements entered into by the regions with representatives of religious confessions (particularly the regional Bishops' Conferences).
