Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The company information system is made up of a set of procedures which - with different methods and tools - prepare and transmit the quantitative and qualitative information necessary for business management. The set of information, and the data from which it derives, constitutes the system of the system. It consists of methods and procedures, technical tools and human resources, aimed at satisfying the internal and external cognitive needs of the company. Internal needs arise in the company's deci-sional processes and are attributable to the systems of control.
