Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The paper presents and analyzes a corpus of about fifty letters that over the course of forty years pupils and alumni have written to their professor of Philosophy and Pedagogy: Emilia Formiggini Santamaria. The archival documents preserved over time by the Roman scholar and donated to the Estense Library of Modena allow to deepen the human and authentically educational face of Santamaria, capable of authentic orientation of adolescents in their life project.
