Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The period between 1740 and 1770 saw the emergence of sentimentalism and human solidarity in English literature. The greater similarity of the behaviors between the sexes allowed women to carve out a space in which it was possible to address topics far from the domestic sphere, such as literature or translation.
