Abstract

The article’s goal is to answer to a specific question: what can the “Lettera ad una professoressa” (Letter to a teacher) still teach to the today’s school after having strongly marked the italian scholar culture for a lot of time? After having retraced the structure and contents, the article highlights how the text written by don Milani and the young people of Barbiana represents a very interesting document also for reading the current scholastic scenario and, especially, for understanding the criticality.
