[Autom. eng. transl.] There are numerous experiences abroad of centers and schools for the education of children and young people with autism. In this article we want to present the activity of an English residential school that has been dealing with special education for decades. Considering the cultural and institutional diversity of Italy, the contact with realities like this one does not want to represent the proposal of an alternative model but the occasion of methodological and pedagogical reflections, in particular for the realization of a multi and interdisciplinary team work through models complex educational, like the SCERTS Model, and the constant comparison between professionals and family for a common life project.
