This paper presents the teacher's training project "ForTutor-Lombarida" which in its three editions (from school year 2006/2007 to school year 2009/2010) involved about 450 in service teachers. The aim of the project was to develope skills to be online tutor. The training model was based on collaborative learning. The paper presents data collected in the evaluation process.
