Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Located in a volume that aims to present the main differences in pronunciation typical of different populations of FLE learners and which is addressed to all teachers, students and researchers in French didactics and French linguistics, this essay presents first the main features of the phonetic-phonological system of Italian, and then illustrates the typical pronunciation traits of Italian-speaking learners of French, based on data from the Interphonologie du Français Contemporain project. The article is complemented by the contents of the CD-ROM, which contains illustrative recordings, as well as fact sheets that describe the content of these recordings and provide additional bibliographic references.
