The chapter studies the polemic discourses in the tweet-campaign for the European elections 2014: the arguments pro and against EU, the negative images of Europe, the common “enemies”. The analysis of 70.549 tweets posted by candidates in 7 lists is quantitative (content) and qualitative (rhetorical strategies, argumentation, polemic issues).
