Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Early recognition of critical conditions in the development of children and young people does not mean formulating clinical diagnoses or fossil assessments, but rather creating the indispensable conditions for designing effective educational activities and devising scientifically based intervention strategies. This awareness, supported by the most recent discoveries on the functioning of the human brain, suggested to the leaders of the Italian federation of kindergartens (FISM) of Parma to entrust the center of studies on disability and marginality (CeDisMa) of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Milan an action research with the aim of studying, constructing and validating an observation and analysis tool, aimed at educators and teachers, useful for intercepting difficulties and problems encountered by children aged between 0 and 6 years. The volume presents the results of this important innovative work, which is a precious resource for anyone working in the field of education.
