Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Here are suggestions for a biographical-spiritual re-enactment of Tarcisio Petracco (San Giorgio della Richinvelda, March 29, 1910 - Udine, January 5, 1997), temper of Friulian "of multiform ingeni", a helpless partisan and a passionate Greek scholar, emigrant and guide to the integration in Canada, inventor of precision instruments on the lathe, intrepid sailor and delicate educator, finally a fighter against the Friulian atavistic resignation, which must be rightly considered the true "father of the University of Friuli".
