Throughout his long career as an antiquarian bookseller and subsequently as a publisher Leo Samuel Olschki (1861-1940) paid special attention to the world of incunables. In addition to the newsletter which appeared perodically and the studies which were published in «La Bibliofilìa», it was Olschki’s catalogues, destined above all for collectors in the United States, which document best his active interest in the subject, in particular in the two decades between 1892 and 1915 when his most important and comprehensive catalogues of fifteenth-century books were issued.
